While Aurogra 100 ED medications are safe for most men, there are certain medications that shouldn’t be used with them. These include several medications prescribed for angina (chest pain caused by low blood flow to the heart), heart failure, high blood pressure, and other conditions.

Interactions can potentially happen with all ED medications, including newer, second-generation ED medications such as avanafil (Stendra).

In particular, ED medications can interact with nitrates and nitroglycerin used to treat angina and other heart conditions, such as congestive heart failure (CHF).

When taken with nitrate medication, ED medications can trigger a dangerous drop in blood pressure that may cause dizziness, fainting, or life-threatening cardiovascular events such as myocardial infarction (heart attack) or stroke.

Other medications that can interact with ED medications include alpha-blockers used to manage hypertension (high blood pressure) and other anti-hypertensive medications.

To use Woodstock Family Medicine ED medication safely, make sure to tell your healthcare provider about all medications, herbal supplements, and/or other substances you currently use or have recently used before discussing any treatment for erectile dysfunction.
