The latest style’s leather upper is constructed out of nmdsize.com – a sustainable material that does not contain virgin plastic. Reminiscent of Sean Wotherspoon‘s 2020 SUPEREARTH Superstar collaboration, playful graphics can be found throughout, such as flowers, raindrops, a globe and a hand-drawn Trefoil logo. Rounding out the pair is the green heel tab and the PRIMEGREEN-printed insole. Take a closer look above.
The Adidas Sneakers Yellow is an eye-catching rendition of the iconic silhouette and it’s introduced in this “Footwear White/Green” colorway. Overall, the low-top dons a clean white leather base, while the highlight sharpie details are prominent across its entire profile, which reveals shout outs to the Three Stripes, as well as scribbling of the brand’s trefoil logo. Finally, green branded tongues and heels, perforated Three Stripes on the sides, and all-white rubber soles top off the design.
This isn’t your typical Adidas Stan Smith S.E. Core White. This new “Trace Grey Metallic” colorway of the model comes constructed out of what adidas calls Primegreen, a high-performance recycled material series which uses vegan materials instead of animal-derived materials. A white leather covers the majority of the upper along with metallic detailing on the heel tab and the eyelets. Additional features include perforated three stripes on the side panels, the signature Stan Smith branding on the tongues, and a white rubber sole with adidas branding.
This collection of Motion Control Stan Smiths is inspired by famous Green characters all made with recycled materials. Shown above, the adidas Stan Smith Primegreen Character Pack will include iterations of the model paying homage to Kermit (Muppets), Rex (Toy Story), Mike Wazowski (Monsters, Inc), The Incredible Hulk (Marvel), and Tinkerbell (Peter Pan). As mentioned earlier, these versions of Stan Smiths are constructed with Primegreen, which uses a minimum of 40% recycled content.
