Mason Rudolph took a Houston Texans Jerseys positive step in his recovery as he cleared the concu sion protocol Wednesday, the team .

He has been cleared to make a return to the field in Week 8 after the Steelers' bye week.

Steelers QB Mason Rudolph has cleared the concu sion protocol and can return to the field in Week 8 after the team returns from Derek Stingley Jr. Jerseys its bye week.

Field Yates (@FieldYates)

Coach Mike Tomlin confirmed Rudolph will be Pittsburgh's starting quarterback when he's ready to return.

He is our quarterback when he clears the protocol Andy Janovich Jerseys . Its as simple as that," Tomlin said earlier Wednesday."As soon as he is ready to go, he is ready Terrance Mitchell Jerseys to go.

Rudolph returned to practice on a limited basis last week in pads and a helmet just three days after taking a scary hit against the Ravens, but he was ruled for Week 6 against the Houston Texans Men Jersey Chargers.Rudolph, selected in the third round of the 2018 draft, hadstepped in Davion Davis Jerseys forBen Roethlisberger, who is recovering from a season-ending elbow injury he suffered in Week 2.

Rudolph was knocked unconsciousby Earl Thomas in Pittsburgh's overtime lo s to Baltimore in Week 5. Thomas was eventuallyfined $21,000 for the hit, though he appealed the sanction.

Devlin Hodges replacedRudolph against Marlon Mack Jerseys Baltimore where he went 7 of9 for 68 yards with no touchdowns but gave the Steelers some hope as hewon his first career start Sunday against the Chargers.

Hodges completed 15 of 20 pa ses for 132 yards with a touchdown and Vince Wilfork Jerseys an interception, while star running back James Conner had his Phillip Lindsay Jerseys first game with both a rushing and receiving touchdown to helpcarry the offense before exiting in the third quarter with a quad injury. He totaled 119scrimmage yards before leaving the game.

The Steelers (2-4) will next face the winle s Dolphins in Week 8 action.

How does one grade how all 32 teams did in the NFL draft just after that NFL draft is finished? Although the returns from the 262 picks in 2022 won't be known for a while, there's still room for immediate evaluation.

There are three ways to figure out how to rank the teams in relation to each other post draft. First, consider what level of talent was acquired by a team over seven rounds. Second, think about whether a team was aware of whether it was a rebuilder or contender and drafted Micah Hyde Men Jersey and traded accordingly. Third, it also is critical for a team to addre s as many short- or long-term roster needs as po sible.

From Thursday through Saturday, based on both quality and quantity, The Sporting News hands out all the grades from top of the cla s to those who barely pa sed:

NFL Draft grades 2022: Ranking the best & worst cla ses1. Baltimore RavensGrade: A+

Draft picks:S Kyle Hamilton, C Tyler Linderbaum, EDGE David Ojabo, DT Travis Jones, OT Daniel Faalele, CB Jalyn Armour-Davis, TE Charlie Kolar, P Jordan Stout, TE Isaiah Likely, CB Damarion Williams, RB Tyler Badie

The Ravens had only first-round pick to start but ended up with three studs, with Hamitlon and Linderbaum set to have immediate starting impact and Ojabo set up to play off Odafe Oweh well. Jones and Faalele were ideal picks for both fronts. They also managed to add strong depth behind Mark Andrews and a replacement for fading Sam Koch. GM Eric DeCosta built up the volume well to addre s many positions and made a shrewd move in dealing wide receiver Marquise Brown. They even got some fresh injury contingency for J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards.

2. New York JetsGrade: A+

Draft picks:CB Sauce Gardner, WR Garrett Wilson, EDGE Jermaine Johnson, RB Breece Hall, TE Jeremy Ruckert, OT Max Mitchell, EDGE Micheal Clemons

The Jets could have destroyed this draft with GM Joe Douglas and coach Robert Saleh just based on the fact they somehow got three top-10 overall players in the first round, all three fitting big needs for alpha playmakers at corner, wideout and pa s rusher. Ruckert was their worst pick based on their roster and he still is a strong talent. They were smart to add a developmental right tackle in Mitchell and get additional sack potential in Clemons. With Wilson further upgrading the pa sing game for Zach Wilson, Hall can have the same complementary explosive impact with Michael Carter.

3. Philadelphia EaglesGrade: A+

Draft picks:DT Jordan Davis, C/G Cam Jurgens, LB Nakobe Dean, LB Kyron Johnson, TE Grant Calcaterra

The Eagles get bonus points for Howie Roseman pulling off the trade for young A.J. Brown to help Jalen Hurts stretch the field and provide a big-play complement to sound all-around 2021 first-rounder DeVonta Smith. Philadelphia converted its first-round volume into immense immediate impact with the Georgia picks Davis and Dean to get much stronger up the middle defensively. Jurgens was a mild reach, but he can end up starting somewhere inside soon. Calcaterra is a good stash for help in 12 personnel with Dallas Goedert.

4. Kansas City ChiefsGrade: A

Draft picks:CB Trent McDuffie, EDGE George Karlaftis, WR Skyy Moore, S Bryan Cook, LB Leo Chenal, CB Joshua Williams, OT/G Darian Kinnard, CB Jaylen Watson, RB Isiah Pacheco, CB Nazeen Johnson Ross Blacklock Jersey

The Chiefs were very methodical in addre sing their needs and getting great value everywhere starting with their two first-rounders, McDuffie and Karlaftis to boost the pa s defense. Moore was the perfect pick to help replace the big-play punch of Tyreek Hill for Patrick Mahomes. Cook and Chenal are strong situational players and watch out for Kinnard being a steal for right tackle. Brett Veach and Andy Reid had confidence they could make the nece sary tweaks and delivered again.

5. Green Bay PackersGrade: A

Draft picks:LB Quay Walker, DT/DE Devonte Wyatt, WR Christian Watson, G/OT Sean Rhyan, WR Romeo Doubs, C/G Zach Tom, EDGE Kingsley Enagbare, LB Tariq Carpenter, DT Jonathan Ford, OT Rasheed Walker, WR Samori Toure

Brian Gutekunst and the Packers reached a little to start with Walker, but he did fill a key defensive need and backing him up with fellow Georgia product Wyatt up front made it better. Then came the great trade up to get Watson, a potential outside replacement No. 1 for Davante Adams. Doubs added more big-play upside for Aaron Rodgers later. Rhyan and Tom satisfied another need for interior upgrades between David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins. Enagbare was a late steal as a complementary pa s rusher.

6. Dallas CowboysGrade: A

Draft picks:G Tyler Smith, EDGE Sam Williams, WR Jalen Tolbert, TE Jake Ferguson, OT Matt Waletzko, LB Damone Clark, DT John Ridgeway, LB Devin Harper

The Cowboys went down the line well with Jerry Jones to get their most pre sing needs, starting with interior run blocking in Smith and outside pa s rushing in Williams. Tolbert is a good new third wideout in the making for Dak Precott post-Amari Cooper and Ferguson is a solid blocking complement to Dalton Schultz. Dallas recognized the need to reload fast and stayed the course with its board. Clark, a playmaking star at LSU, and Ridgeway, out of Jones' alma mater Arkansas, can pan out as late-round front-seven steals from the SEC.

7. Pittsburgh SteelersGrade: A-

Draft picks:QB Kenny Pickett, WR George Pickens, DT/DE DeMarvin Leal, WR Calvin Austin III, TE/FB Connor Heyward, LB Mark Robinson, QB Chris Oladokun

GM Kevin Colbert had a clear mi sion in his last draft before stepping down: Make the Steelers' offense complete and Adrian Phillips Jersey downright dangerous downfield in the pa sing game again in the wake of Ben Roethlisberger's retirement. Pickett was convenient in-town first-rounder with his deep-ball accuracy and athleticism ideal for Matt Canada. Pickens' outside speed and Austin's inside quickne s raise the big-play quotient beyond Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool, building on getting Najee Harris and Pat Freiermuth. In between, Leal was a disruptive defensive get for their three-man front. The only question is whether Pickett will be the right choice vs. Malik Willis and others in the long run.

8. Minnesota VikingsGrade: A-

Draft picks:S Lewis Cine, CB Andrew Booth Jr., G Ed Ingram, LB Brian Asamoah, CB Akayleb Evans, EDGE Esezi Otemewo, RB Ty Chandler, OT Vederian Lowe, WR Jaien Nailor, TE Nick Muse

The Vikings do get knocked a little for making multiple intradivision trades to help the Packers and Lions, but otherwise GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah had a good first draft to help his fellow rookie, coach Kevin O'Connell. Cine and Booth are great complementary players to their secondary and can learn well from Harrison Smith and Patrick Peterson. They threw it back to load up on welcome revamped defensive depth at every level. Ingram also has a good chance to start somewhere inside for the offense. Chandler, Nailor and Muse are good bottom-roster offensive skill adds.

9. Seattle SeahawksGrade: A-

Draft picks:OT Charles Cro s, EDGE Boye Mafe, RB Kenneth Walker III, OT Abraham Lucas, CB Coby Bryant, CB Tariq Woolen, EDGE Tyreke Smith, WR Bo Melton, WR Dareke Young

Credit the Seahawks for knowing their identity well with Pete Carroll and John Schneider and drafting accordingly. Cro s and Lucas can form bookend run-blocking rocks for Wallker, whose three-down workhorse potential can help clean up the durability i sues with Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny.. Mafe and Smith are Carroll's type of high-energy explosive pa s rushers. The picks they made were sound; the one big question is whether they whiffed by not tapping into QB post-Ru sell Wilson and being OK rolling with Drew Lock without competition.

Richard Rodgers Jersey 10. Tenne see TitansGrade: A-

Draft picks:WR Treylon Burks, CB Roger McCreary, OT Nicholas Petit-Frere, QB Malik Willis, RB Ha san Haskins, TE Chigoziem Okonkwo, WR Kyle Phillips, CB Theo Jackson, LB Chance Campbell

The Titans' draft seemed headed in forced direction after trading A.J. Brown and hoping the falling Burks, with a similar skill set, can turn into the same kind of strong wide receiver. But then Jon Robinson and Mike Vrabel went back to the "draft coming to them" and landing values at positions of need. McCreary and Petit-Frere started that, but the stashing of Willis behind fading Ryan Tannehill stamped that. Haskins was the ideal power backup to better relieve Derrick Henry. Okonkwo has the potential to emerge as their new Jonnu Smith, too.

11. Houston TexansGrade: A-

Draft picks:CB Derek Stingley Jr., G Kenyon Green, CB/S Jalen Pitre, WR John Metchie III, LB Christian Harris, RB Dameon Pierce, DT Thomas Booker, TE Teagan Quitoriano, OT Austin Deculus

The Texans nailed their first five picks, even if the players in some cases (starting with Stingley and Green) may not have been the true best available at their positions. Interior blocking and more big-play receivers were addre sed offense, as was front-seven cleanup on defense. The only question marks for Nick Caserio were not tapping into offensive tackle earlier and edge rusher at all.

12. Los Angeles ChargersGrade: A-

Draft picks:G/OT Zion Johnson, S JT Woods, RB Isaiah Spiller, DT Otito Ogbonnia, OT Jamaree Salyer, CB Ja'Sir Taylor, CB Deane Leonard, FB Zander Horvath

The Chargers mostly recognized they needed to pick to contend now with Justin Herbert, and getting Johnson to boost the interior offenisve line and Spiller to better complement Ausin Ekeler was huge. Ogbonnia filled a positional need and Salyer might end up solving right tackle, too. They didn't need to do much to tweak in the draft after keeping Mike Williams and adding both J.C. Jackson and Khalil Mack in free agency.

(Getty Images) 13. Atlanta FalconsGrade: B+

Draft picks:WR Drake London, EDGE Arnold Ebiketie, LB Troy Andersen, QB Desmond Ridder, EDGE DeAngelo Cory Littleton Youth Jersey Malone, RB Tyler Allgeier, G Justin Shaffer, TE John FitzPatrick

There's no doubt GM Terry Fontenot addre sed all the team's glaring needs, going down the line with wide receiver, pa s rusher and an active tackling replacement for Foyesade Oluokun. The bonus was still getting a borderline first-round pa sing prospect to groom well behind Marcus Mariota, to whom Ridder has similar athletic and intangible traits. Allgeier was a much-needed power back, too. The drop from a "A" is tied to London being such a potential bust vs. the true top three wideouts in the cla s.

14. Indianapolis ColtsGrade: B+

Draft picks:WR Alec Pierce, TE Jelani Woods, OT Bernhard Raimann, S Nick Cro s, DT Eric Johnson, TE Andrew Ogletree, DT Curtis Brooks, CB/S Rodney Thomas

Chris Ballard and the Colts were effective in addre sing needs without a first-rounder. Offensive-minded Frank Reich should enjoy having a complementary big-play wideout to Michael Pittman Jr. in Pierce and replenishing the tight end depth. Cro s can also start right away next to newcomer Rodney McLeod. The key to this cla s is whether Raimann can emerge quickly as their starting left tackle to replace fellow Central Michigan product Eric Fisher.

15. Carolina PanthersGrade: B+

Draft picks:OT Ickey Ekwonu, QB Matt Corral, LB Brandon Smith, EDGE Amare Barno, G Cade Mays, CB Kalon Barnes

The Panthers did well to addre s their primary needs with GM Scott Fitterer, being able to land Ekwonu to shore up offensive tackle and also get a rookie QB with arm/athleticism upside to push Sam Darnold. Mays is a sneaky developmental player who can start in time. Now the team also doesn't need to fore a trade for another veteran QB.

MORE:

16. Denver BroncosGrade: B+

Draft picks:EDGE Nik Bonitto, TE Greg Dulcich, CB Damarri Mathis, DT Eyioma Uwazurike, S Delarrin Turner-Yell, WR Montrell Washington, C Luke Wattenberg, DT Matt Henningsen, CB Faion Hicks

The Broncos already made their splash in the offseason by using draft capital to acquire Ru sell Wilson. GM George Paton still made the most of entering in the second round, getting the ideal second-level complement to Bradley New York Jets Jersey Chubb in Bonitto and a replacement for Noah Fant in the super-athletic Dulcich. Denver also added good defensive depth later.

17. Las Vegas RaidersGrade: B+

Draft picks:G Dylan Parham, RB Zamir White, DT/DE Neil Farrell, DT Matthew Butler, OT Thayer Munford Jr., RB Brittain Brown

The Raiders went to work late after giving up their first- and second-round picks for Davante Adams. They got the ideal run blocker inside in Parham and White can be more of Josh McDaniels' type of running back. Throw in Farrell and they did right by their board for new GM Dave Ziegler.

18. New Orleans SaintsGrade: B

Draft picks:WR Chris Olave, OT Trevor Penning, CB Alontae Taylor, LB D'Marco Johnson, DT Jordan Jackson

Olave and Penning were great picks to help upgrade the downfield pa sing offense for Jameis Winston in the first post-Sean Payton season. Mickey Loomis also gave Payton's defensive-minded succe sor Dennis Allen some good depth pieces. The "only" above-average grade reflects trading quantity for early quality and limited punch afterward.

(Getty Images) 19. Buffalo BillsGrade: B

Draft picks:CB Kaiir Elam, RB James Cook, LB Terrel Bernard, WR Khalil Shakir,P Matt Araiza, CB Christian Benford, OT Luke Tenuta, LB Baylon Spector

Brandon Beane and the Bills filled their need for a big No. 2 cornerback pretty well with Elam, although Trent McDuffie or Andrew Booth Jr. would have been more ideal. After talking about taking a running back hire, Cook was a fine get as a complementary speed-quickne s receiving type. Shakir and Araiza rounded things by catching falling stars for wide receiver depth and a major punting upgrade.

20. Detroit LionsGrade: B

Draft picks:EDGE Aidan Hutchison, WR Jameson Williams, EDGE Josh Paschal, S Kerby Joseph, TE James Mitchell, LB Malcolm Rodriguez, EDGE James Houston, CB Chase Lucas

The Lions' draft is stamped by landing Hutchinson, the best player, for the pa s rush at No. 2 and then a wise trade up to grab Williams as key extra big playmaker for the pa sing game. The rest of the haul isn't that bad, but there's definitely a Alex Okafor Men Jersey knock for not thinking about quarterback and taking corner depth only very late.

21. Cleveland BrownsGrade: B

Draft picks:CB Martin Emerson, EDGE Alex Wright, WR David Bell, DT Perrion Winfrey, K Cade York, RB Jerome Ford, WR Mike Woods, EDGE Isiah Thomas, C Dawson Deaton

The Browns used their early draft capital to get Deshaun Watson and didn't get more by choosing not to deal Baker Mayfield during. Emerson and Wright were shaky initial depth picks, but Bell and Winfrey were incredible need values for Andrew Berry. They also copycatted the Bengals and solved their big kicker i sue with York. It's a true middle-cla s haul.

MORE:

22. New York GiantsGrade: B

Draft picks:EDGE Kayvon Thibodeaux, OT Evan Neal, WR Wan'Dale Robinson, G Joshua Ezeudu, CB Cordale Flott, TE Daniel Bellinger, S Dane Belton, LB Micah McFadden, DT DJ Davidson, G Marcus McKethan, LB Darrian Beavers

It would have been difficult for new GM Joe Schoen to botch such high first-rounders given the talent aligning for the offensive and defensive needs of Brian Daboll and Wink Martindale in new schemes. Although acing Thibodeaux and Neal carries good weight, Robinson, Ezeudu, Flott and Bellinger were reaches at other positional targets before ending with some decent values in Belton and Beavers.

23. Cincinnati BengalsGrade: B-

Draft picks:S Daxton Hill, CB Cam Taylor-Britt, DT/DE Zach Carter, G Cordell Volson, S Tycen Anderson, EDGE Jeffery Gunter

The Bengals smashed last year's draft with Duke Tobin and they didn't have any glaring pre sing needs after some good offensive line moves in free agency. Although it was a bit curious to start with a good all-around safety in Hill given that's a positional strength, they are thinking about future contract. Taylor-Britt can have more immediate secondary impact and Cincinnati went to work well on depth.

24. Chicago BearsGrade: B-

Draft picks:CB Kyler Gordon, S Jaquan Brisker, WR Velus Jones Jr., OT Braxton Jones, EDGE Dominique Robinson, G Zach Thomas, RB Trestan Ebner, C Doug Kramer, G Ja'Tyre Carter, CB Elijah Hicks

The first draft for GM Ryan Poles and defensive-minded Matt Eberflus was a mixed bag. Not surprisingly, defense was strong overall with Gordon, Brisker and Robinson providing good impact for the pa s defense without a first-rounder. The Bears, however, struggled to get Justin Fields the right much-needed offensive skill position help as Jones was a major speed-based reach. On the brighter side, Jones has potential to start at right tackle.

(Getty Images) 25. Tampa Bay BuccaneersGrade: B-

Draft picks:DT/DE Logan Hall, G/OT Luke Goedeke, RB Rachaad White, TE Cade Otton, P Jake Camarda, CB Zyon McCollum, TE Ko Kieft, LB Andre Anthony

The Buccaneers did a pretty good job addre sing needs, getting Hall, Goedeke and Otton to help replace Ndamukong Suh, retiring Ali Marpet and maybe Rob Gronkowski, too. McCollum was a good depth pick later. There was just Shane Ray Men Jersey limited room for draft impact for Jason Licht after trading out of the first round for a little extra volume.

26. Jacksonville JaguarsGrade: C

Draft picks:DT/DE Travon Walker, LB Devin Lloyd, LB Chad Muma, C Luke Fortner, RB Snoop Conner, CB Gregory Junior

Trent Baalke and Doug Pederson are counting on the run-stuffing and explosive pa s-rushing of Walker to prove them right in pa sing on Aidan Hutchinson. It also was strange for them to trade up to get Lloyd but also take Muma right after him. They also reached a bit desperate to replace retiring Brandon Linder on their offensive line. Their Day 3 picks ere a bit random, too. The Jaguars also failed in getting needed young wide receiver help for Trevor Lawrence in Year 2. The shrinking volume from 12 picks is also questionable.

27. Arizona CardinalsGrade: C

Draft picks:TE Trey McBride, DE Cameron Thomas, EDGE Myjai Sanders, RB Keaontay Ingram, G Lecitus Smith, CB/S Christian Matthew, LB Je se Luketa, G Marquis Hayes

The Cardinals and GM Steve Keim set a questionable tone for the draft by giving up a first-rounder for Marquise Brown to appease Kyler Murray. McBride was the best tight end on the board, but it wasn't a need with Zach Ertz and Maxx Williams back in the mix. They did well working on their front seven needs with the upside of Thomas and Sanders, but should have looked more at linebacker before Luketa late. Ingram and the rest of the Day 3 picks were OK but not close to shrewd in terms of finding value. The Cardinals would have been better off tapping into a strong wideout cla s later than getting Brown.

28. Miami Cameron Jordan Women Jersey DolphinsGrade: C

Draft picks:LB Channing Tindall, WR Erik Ezukanma, EDGE Cameron Goode, QB Skylar Thompson

The Dolphins were handcuffed into a quiet draft for GM Chris Grier and new coach Mike McDaniel given they gave up a total of five significant picks this year and the next for Tyreek Hill. Tindall did fill a need well to try to upgrade linebacker but there isn't anything else to see here with a developmental pa s rusher and pa ser late.

29. San Francisco 49ersGrade: C-

Draft picks:EDGE Drake Jackson, RB Ty Davis-Price, WR Danny Gray, G Spencer Burford, CB Samuel Womack, OT Nick Zakelj, DT Kalia Davis, CB Tariq Castro-Fields, QB Brock Purdy

The 49ers made a great first pick to fit their complementary pa s-rushing needs away from Nick Bosa with Jackson in the second round. But this overall was rough for Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch without a first-rounder. Burford and Castro-Fields were good later picks to addre s needs, but reaching for Davis-Price and Gray was too offensively cute for Shanahan. As contenders who just made the NFC title game again, running back and wideout were not real concerns with Elijah Mitchell leading a run-first attack. At least San Francisco didn't trade Deebo Samuel, but it also couldn't trade Jimmy Garoppolo. Purdy was a fitting Mr. Irrelevant to add to the quarterback questions.

30. Los Angeles RamsGrade: C-

Draft picks:G Logan Bru s, CB Decobie Durant, RB Kyren Williams, S Quentin Lake, CB Darion Kendrick, DE Daniel Hardy, S Ru s Yeast, OT A.J. Arcuri

The Rams went into the draft with the shrug emoji with no picks in the top 100. They got Bru s right away to fill an immediate need, but that was a reach with Cole Strange long gone. After that, Kendrick was by far their next best pick to fill a need as mid third-round talent. Then again, Sean McVay and Les Snead have proved they don't need much from the draft for their team to remain a contender and take a shot at another Super Bowl with their veteran core.

31. Washington CommandersGrade: C-

Draft picks:WR Domata Peko Jersey Jahan Dotson, DT Phidarian Mathis, RB Brian Robinson, S Percy Butler, QB Sam Howell, TE Cole Turner, G Chris Paul, CB Christian Holmes

One word sums up the Commanders' draft under Martin Mayhew, Ron Rivera and Scott Turner: "weird". First instead of staying put for ideal wideout Chris Olave, they traded down and reached a little for Dotson's big-play speed. They like Alabama players, but Mathis is a pure depth guy and Robinson was an unnece sary luxury power back pick behind Antonio Gibson. The rest of the late haul was meh, including a forced reach for the falling and limited Howell as a pseudo contingency for Carson Wentz.

32. New England PatriotsGrade: C-

Draft picks:G Cole Strange, WR Tyquan Thornton, CB/S Marcus Jones, CB Jack Jones, RB Pierre Strong, QB Bailey Zappe, RB Kevin Harris, DT Sam Roberts, C Chasen Hines, OT Andrew Stueber

The Patriots started by reaching for Strange's third-round value in the first round and being too speed-enamored with Thornton. That came at the cost of no desperately needed top corner early. Marcus Jones was more their type of their versatile defensive pick for Bill Belichick. There also was logical in taking Zappe to develop their next ideal backup QB. But taking two running backs is very odd, as well as taking more offensive linemen vs. addre sing their ma sive need at linebacker at least once.

The Chiefs sustained a major lo s during Sunday's game against the Titans.

Midway Jason Williams Jersey through the fourth quarter, Patrick Mahomes was hit in the head as he was sacked on a fourth down. He had to be helped up off the field and went straight to the C.J. Moore Jersey medical tent after the injury. He did not return to the game.

Chad Henne replaced Mahomes and finished the game at quarterback. The Chiefs lost 27-3 to the Titans, and fell to 3-4 on the year.

Duke Johnson is focused on finding a new home in free agency, but he is certainly aware of everything else going on Michael Irvin Jersey around the NFL especially the awkward situation unfolding in Cleveland.

The veteran running back, who played for the Browns from 2015-18, saw Baker Mayfield's Twitter post on Tuesday night and decided to take a shot at his old teammate. Amid the , Mayfield tweeted out a Jimmy Graham Jersey letter to Cleveland fans that sounded very much like a goodbye despite the fact that he is under contract for one more season.

With many uncertainties, here is where my head and heart is.

Baker Mayfield (@bakermayfield)

Only 17 minutes after Mayfield posted the me sage, Johnson tweeted out a GIF of a train on fire. How is that image connected to Mayfield? Back in June 2019, Mayfield Sam Waardenburg Jersey took a hard stance after Johnson asked for a trade.

"You're either on this train or you're not. It's moving," Mayfield said at the time (). "You can get out of the way, or you can join us."

NFL FREE AGENCY:

Ouch. Johnson didn't need any words to make his point. He had to David Njoku Jersey wait nearly three years, but he took advantage when the opportunity presented itself.

The Browns ended up trading Johnson to the Texans before the start of the 2019 campaign, and Dewan Hernandez Jersey he played two seasons in Houston before signing with the Dolphins last year. He is now searching for a new home and Mayfield could soon be in a similar position.

If Mayfield does leave Cleveland, could serve as po sible landing spots. While another year with the Anthony Lawrence II Jersey Browns can't be completely ruled out, at this point a fresh start elsewhere seems far more likely.

Or, to use Mayfield's words, the Browns' train is moving, and it doesn't feel like he's on it.

Fantasy football sleepers are everyones favorite commodity. Once youve hit on one weeks sleepers, though, you need to find new ones. So, no matter whether you played the right ones last week, Week 2 is a new opportunity to take a few more high-upside chances with some start 'em, sit 'em calls. Injuries to studs like Joe Mixon and Tyreek Hill provide those types of sleeper opportunities for backups like Giovani Bernard and Mecole Hardman.

We were hit or mi s in Week 1. We gave you Austin Ekeler as a sleeper, and he was one of the highest scoring players the whole week Dominic Proctor Jersey in his role as Melvin Gordons replacement. We also suggested Lamar Jackson, who sliced and diced the Dolphins defense to the tune of 59 Ravens points. And Deng Gak Jersey we might never dominate one section as much as we did tight end for Week 1, when our sleeper picks of T.J. Hockenson, Mark Andrews and Darren Waller proved to be three of the best TEs in fantasy, at least for the opening week.WEEK 2 NON-PPR RANKINGS:

Of course there were mi ses, too. Frank Gore didnt dominate snaps in the Buffalo backfield. Marvin Jones had a quiet day for the Lions. Matt Breida underwhelmed despite getting solid touches. Thats par for the course, though. They wouldnt be sleepers if we were right every time.

So, heading into this week, we have multiple Jets and Bengals on our list, which seems like it could be a recipe for disaster if youre a fan of either of those NFL teams. Breida returns to the list for a second time -- call it a "Redemption Game", if you will.

In general, continue to keep in mind that someones presence on the sleepers list doesnt make them an automatic start -- just someoneto seriously consider when youre setting your lineup. Breida wouldnt get a start for a fantasy team over Kerryon Johnson, but that doesnt make him unworthy of a potential FLEX start. And if our Week 1 is any indication, well probably regre s to the mean and whiff on one or two of our TEs this week. .WEEK 2PPR RANKINGS: | | David Njoku Jersey

LISTEN TO THE SN FANTASY WEEK 2 PREVIEW PODCAST BELOW

Week 2Fantasy Sleepers: Running backs

Devin Singletary, Bills @ Giants (Billy Heyen).Singletary might look shaky on paper after receiving only four Week 1 carries, but he played on 48 of Buffalo's 69 snaps. The Bills just had it in their minds to pa s early and often, as Josh Allen dropped back on the first nine plays Buffalo ran. Expect a more even split in Week 2, especially with Buffalo potentially getting up on the Giants early. Singletary is the lead back, as his 48-19 snap advantage over Frank Gore showed in Week 1.

Matt Breida, 49ers @ Bengals (Vinnie Iyer). Tevin Coleman is hurt, and Breida will get the bigger chunk of Willie Herenton Jersey the work ahead of Raheem Mostert against a very weak run defense.

Giovani Bernard, Bengals vs. 49ers (Matt Lutovsky). If Joe Mixon (ankle) is out, Bernard is almost a must-start against a 49ers defense that just allowed 5.8 yards per carry to Ronald Ed Reed Jersey "1.9yards-per-carry-as-a-rookie Jones" (not his actual nickname) and 4.1 yards per carry to Peyton Barber. If Mixon is active, Bernard still has upside as a PPR FLEX because he'll likely still see a few more touches than usual.

Week 2DFS Lineups: | | | | |

Week 2Fantasy Football Sleepers: Quarterbacks

Andy Dalton, Bengals vs. 49ers(Heyen). The 49ers just spent the week in Youngstown, and Dalton threw for more than 400 yards in Week 1. Can lightning strike twice? A porous defense might be the best chance he has.

Josh Allen, Bills @ Giants (Iyer).Allen is still running and scoring and now has a deep threat to help him in John Brown. He should be cleaner in a road matchup in Braxton Berrios Jersey the same stadium against a much worse defense.

Derek Carr, Raiders vs. Chiefs (Lutovsky). With only four incompletions in Week 1, Carr looked comfortable with his new receivers. Kansas City still has i sues on defense, as shown by Gardner Minshew's impre sive performance against them (22-of-25, 275 yards, two TDs). Carr's ceiling always seems limited, but he definitely has a high floor in this one.

Week 2Fantasy Football Sleepers: Wide receivers

Will Fuller V, Texans vs. Jaguars (Heyen). The Jalen Ramsey-effect seems to matter, and I'd expect him to do his best to lock up DeAndre Hopkins. That leaves Fuller to fit in the Sammy Watkins role, which led to three Week 1 touchdowns for the Chiefs' WR2. Fuller showed off his big-play ability with a ridiculous Chris Lykes Jersey catch in Houston's season opener, so as long as he's healthy, you'll want him in your lineup.

D.K. Metcalf, Seahawks @ Steelers (Iyer). His usage and production provided a solidcomplement to Tyler Lockett last week, and a Pittsburgh secondary with an injured Joe Haden is a big boost for the rookie.

Mecole Hardman, Chiefs @ Raiders (Lutovsky).Hardmanfailed to record a catch on his lone target last week, but he played 53 of 59 snaps after Tyreek Hill got hurt. He'll be on the field, and he'll get targets in a softer matchup. One deep ball from Patrick Mahomesis all he needs to pay off.

Week 2Fantasy Football Sleepers: Tight ends

Ryan Griffin, Jets vs. Browns(Heyen). The Browns allowed 100 catches to TEs in 2018, and they allowed five catches for 55 yards and two TDs to Delanie Walker in Week 1. Even with Trevor Siemian, andeven though Griffin may not Sam Waardenburg Jersey matter in fantasy again after Monday night, he should matter on Monday night after receiving four targets in the Jets' opener. It doesn't hurt that he's the most likely candidate to get Quincy Enunwa's vacated targets.

Vernon Davis, Redskins vs. Cowboys (Iyer). He looked young and athletic again and should be the most open target for Case Keenum with Jordan Reed likely remaining on the shelf.

C.J. Uzomah, Bengals vs. 49ers (Lutovsky).Uzoman was clearly the Bengals preferred option over Tyler Eifert last week, and the 49ersallowed two TE touchdowns that were ultimately nullified by flags last week. We're not ready to call this is a favorable or unfavorable matchup just yet, but Uzomah still looks good as an under-the-radar option.

Week 2Fantasy Sleepers: Reggie Wayne Jersey Defenses

New York Giants vs. Bills (Heyen). This is a vote of non-confidence in Josh Allen. He's simply going to turn the ball over a couple of times in almost every game he plays this year -- it comes with his play style. Buffalo isn't explosive to the point that their final score will make the Giants unplayable, and the potential for multiple takeaways makes New York a solid sleeper.

San Francisco 49ers @ Bengals (Iyer). Nick Bosa and Dee Ford made their pa s-rush presence felt right away, resulting in more takeaways and big plays. Andy Dalton was sacked five times by Seattle last week, too.

Indianapolis Colts @ Titans (Lutovsky). This is a bit of an unexciting Miami Hurricanes College Jersey pick, but it's based largely on the belief the Colts are a legitimately talented defense. They managed four sacks and an INT against the Chargers, and the much le s-dynamic Titans gave up four sacks in their opener. Indy could pre sure Marcus Mariota into a few mistakes while keeping the score relatively low.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is out for Sunday night's matchup vs. the Vikings while he nurses a calf injury, Reggie Wayne Jersey opening the door for another Cinderfella tale with backup quarterback Cooper Rush.

Rush, who is in his second stint as Anthony Mack Jersey backup of the Cowboys, is getting his first career start on Sunday night after attempting just three pa ses in his NFL career none of which have come in the last three years.

Things might get a little scary for Dallas on Halloween night ifRush isn't up to the task.

Here's what you need to know:

MORE:

Who is Cooper Rush?

The 27-year-old Rush is Chris Lykes Jersey in his second stint as Cowboys backup, originally signing up to back up Dak Prescott in 2017.

The former starting quarterback of the Central Michigan Chippewas, the four-year starter was one of the school's Dominic Proctor Jersey most prolific pa sers, ranking second in touchdown pa ses (67) and third in yards (9,354) and Willie Herenton Jersey completions (744).

Rush went undrafted in 2017, eventually signing on to back up Dak Prescott following the draft. Zach Johnson Jersey He was inactive in the first five games of his career, eventually landing as QB2 behind the Cowboys current starter.

Coincidentally, Rush shared a QB room with current Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who would eventually hit the waiver wire, later signing with the team's practice squad. Rush would stick as QB2 ahead of Moore before Moore retired in 2018.

In 2020, Miami Hurricanes College Jersey the Rush lost his job as QB2 after the Cowboys signed Andy Dalton. He would sign with the Giants soon Rodney Miller Jr. Jersey after, briefly reuniting with head former head coach Jason Garrett, who had taken the OC job with the Giants. After about a month on the practice squad, Rush was released again, resigning with the Cowboys soon after.

In his career, Rush has attempted three pa ses and completed one, all coming in Kameron McGusty Jersey 2017 in brief relief of Prescott. He has taken snaps in recent years to help close out games, but has no pa s attempts since that 2017 game vs. the 49ers. Rush's sole pa s was a two-yardcompletion to wide receiver Ryan Switzer in the 40-10 win Ebuka Izundu Jersey .

The fantasy football playoffs are right around the corner, so what better time to have a stacked set of fantasy WR rankings? Week 13 should hopefully see the returns of several key injured wide receivers (Adam Thielen, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Alshon Jeffery, Tyreek Hill),but obviously we won't know for sure until the games kick off. At this point in the season, you can't take anything for granted, and every start Ebuka Izundu Jersey -or-sit decision should be scrutinized.

This week, that even includes DeAndre Hopkins (vs. Patriots) and Amari Cooper (vs. Bills). Cooper, who's clearly not 100 percent, was held without a catch in Week 12 by Stephon Gilmore and the Patriots. The wet weather didn't help, but Cooper has now turned in two duds Rodney Miller Jr. Jersey in a row and gets Tre'Davious White, who just shut down Courtland Sutton. Hopkins faces Gilmore this week, and while it's always tough to sit one of football's best receivers when he's fully healthy, New England's numbers speak for themselves. Golden Tate is the only WR to catch a touchdown or top 78 receiving yards against the Pats this year. JuJu Smith-Schuster (6-78, aided by garbage time), Terry McLaurin (3-51), Odell Beckham Jr. (5-52), Jarvis Landry (5-65), Hollywood Brown (3-48), and Cooper have all been held in check. However, Hopkins is having a better year than all of those players, and he plays with the best pa sing QB of the bunch (apologies to healthy Ben Roethlisberger). He'll also be at home, something JuJu, the Browns, and Cooper didn't have the advantage of.

WEEK 13 NON-PPR RANKINGS:

Can you really sit Brad Kaaya Jersey Hopkins? You can. It's po sible you have three wide receivers better. Will you? Probably not, but Will Fuller is another story. Anthony Mack Jersey You can argue he actually has more upside because he won't have Gilmore on him and he has more big-play potential. That might be true, but, again -- only one receiver has caught a touchdown against the Pats all year. Perhaps they're due to get burned, especially when you factor in the bad QBs/mediocre WRs they've faced, but Fuller is the definition of a boom-or-bust risk this week.

WEEK 13 PPR RANKINGS:||

Fortunately, there are plenty of potential sleepers. Ru sell Gage (vs. Saints), Tre'Quan Smith/Ted Ginn (@ Falcons), and Taylor Gabriel/Anthony Miller (@ Lions) could get your week started off right on Thanksgiving if you're willing to take a risk, while Demarcus Robinson/Mecole Hardman are boom-or-bust flierson Sunday against the Raiders, especially if Tyreek Hill (hamstring) is out. Dede Westbrook/Chris Conley (vs. Reggie Wayne Jersey Buccaneers) are also solid options, while Kelvin Harmon (@ Panthers) is a deep play in a favorable matchup. Green Bay's secondary receivers are worth a look against the Giants, and New England's Nos. 2 and 3 -- whatever the combination is of Mohamed Sanu (ankle), Phillip Dorsett (concu sion), Jakobi Meyers, and N'Keal Harry) -- have potential value against the Texans.

WEEK 13 DFS LINEUPS: | | | | |

Suttron (vs. Chargers), Keenan Allen/Mike Williams (@ Broncos), OBJ/Landry (@ Steelers), Hollywood Brown (vs. 49ers), Kenny Golladay/Marvin Jones (vs. Bears), Cooper/Michael Gallup (vs. Bills), and John Brown/Cole Beasley (@ Cowboys) aren't in great spots, but most are worth starting. Hollywood is the riskiest, with Williams and Beasley also having relatively Ray Lewis Jersey low floors and ceilings.

Note: We'll continue to update these rankings all week, so check back for the latest and individual player analysis.

The 49ers have made a terrific turnaround this season, but Jimmy Graham Jersey I dont expect them to advance far in this year's NFL playoffs. I see San Francisco falling short of Seattle in the NFC West, earning the fifth seed and beating the NFC East champ before getting knocked out by New Orleans or Seattle.

I realize from personal experience that, while unlikely, it is po sible for a 4-12 team which the 49ers were last season to experience a fantastic turnaround, have a great playoff run and win the Super Bowl. That was precisely what occurred in 1999, when I painfully watched the Rams beat my Titans in Super Bowl 34 after my first season as Tenne see's president.

Michael Irvin Jersey

St. Louis that season was led by a small school quarterback from Northern Iowa in Kurt Warner, which was similar to Jimmy Garoppolo's background at Eastern Illinois. Warner also was in his first full season as an NFL starter, and that will be the case for Garoppolo if he stays healthy the rest of the way.

This year's 49ers are different in that it's their defense that's most impre sive as opposed to the 1999 Rams and their "Greatest show on Turf" offense. Despite Warner's Super Bowl MVP heroics that season, Garoppolo's maiden playoff voyage does give me pause.

NFL PLAYOFF PICTURE:

Garoppolo is having a solid season with a 101.2 Frank Gore Jersey pa ser rating, but he has thrown too many interceptions (10 so far) for my liking. He works behind a solid offensive line and has one of the leagues best fullbacks in Kyle Juszczyk, but he doesn't have a Hall of Fame running back behind him.

Matt Breida, Tevin Coleman and Raheem Mostert are a fine trio, but theres not a Marshall Faulk among them. Likewise, the receiving corps is talented with George Kittle deserving of a Pro Bowl nod, rookie second rounder Deebo Samuel appearing to be a rising star and Emmanuel Sanders still productive while Willie Herenton Jersey past his prime. But that Rams team was more explosive with a pair of multiple-time Pro Bowl receivers in Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt.

San Francisco ranks as the league's sixth best unit in total yards, and their 32:39 average time of po se sion is No. 2. But I dont see them being able to keep pace with Ru sell Wilson- and Drew Brees-led offenses unle s their No. 1-ranked defense gives them short fields via lots of turnovers.

Ebuka Izundu Jersey

The 49ers' defense is having a terrific season, and the unit is capable of leading a playoff run. Ill cut them some slack for allowing Ravens QB Lamar Jackson to rush for 101 yards last week since he has done that all year. It's a San Francisco defense led by a trio of first-round picks on the defensive line Arik Armstead, Nick Bosa and DeForest Buckner along with a fine trade acquisition by general manager John Lynch in defensive end Dee Ford.

This quartet has combined for 31 of the teams 45 sacks, the second most in the league. The 49ers defense also has leadership and Super Bowl experience in the secondary with loquacious corner Richard Sherman.

NFL PLAYOFF PICTURE:

Along with my concerns about Garoppolo's lack of playoff experience in a potential road playoff game, the 49ers' kicking game reminds me of what became the Bears undoing last year. After Chicagos great season, it fell to Philadelphia in the wild-card round when kicker Cody Parkey double-doinked the potential game-winner (after he had a shaky regular season). Which is ironic, because long-time Bears kicker Miami Hurricanes College Jersey Robbie Gould is the 49ers kicker who is struggling this season, fighting through injuries and having made just 14 of 22 field-goal attempts.

Part of my reluctance to embrace the 49ers as a final four team, much Ray Lewis Jersey le s Super Bowl bound, is a relatively soft schedule that catapulted them to an 8-0 start while facing only two winning teams, the Steelers and Rams (both currently 7-5).

Theyre coming back to earth in a recent tough stretch that began with the overtime defeat at home against the Seahawks in which Gould was out and his replacement Chase McLaughlin mi sed a potential game-winner. A comeback win over Arizona was followed by the current three-game stretch against division leaders Green Bay (win), Baltimore (lo s) and Sundays matchup of 10-2 teams in New Orleans.

WEEK 14 NFL PICKS: |

I am liking the 49ers more after their convincing win over the Packers followed by the three-point road lo s to the red-hot Ravens. A win in New Orleans followed by a victory in the season finale in Seattle might change my playoff projection for San Francisco, Zach Johnson Jersey as it would then finish as a top two seed with home playoff games forthcoming. But I dont see that scenario unfolding.

It is interesting to see that last weeks 49ers-Ravens game and this weeks 49ers-Saints game both remained as 1 p.m. ET starts with neither game moved to Sunday night or even a later afternoon kickoff. That tells me the NFL office and the networks are not Kameron McGusty Jersey enamored with the star power and thus potential ratings impact of this 49ers team despite its stellar record.

I salute the efforts and leadership of Lynch and coach Kyle Shanahan for what theyve accomplished in elevating the franchise in this third year on their watch. Perhaps theyll surprise me and reach the promised land by delivering the franchises first Super Bowl championship since 1994 and sixth overall to tie the Patriots and Steelers.

I just dont see a repeat or close to it of Braxton Berrios Jersey the 1999 Rams 20 years later with these 49ers.

Fans at Heinz Field booed the Steelers late in the first quarter Monday night. The winle s Dolphins had a two-touchdown lead, and Pittsburgh was in danger of an embarra sing lo s in primetime.

The Steelers defense turned it around over the final three quarters, shutting out Miami over the remaining 46 minutes and allowing a mediocre offense to close the game with 27 unanswered points in a 27-14 win.

Michael Irvin Jersey It took until the 3:16 mark of the third quarter for Pittsburgh to take a lead, but by then a Steelers win felt inevitable. Miami's offense went 43 yards in the second quarter and 22 in the third, en route to 91 in the entire second half.

MORE:

In his return from injury, Pittsburgh quarterback Mason Rudolph threw an interception on his first pa s and never looked particularly impre sive; he finished 20-for-36 for 251 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and an interception.

James Conner picked up 145 rushing yards and a touchdown, and JuJu Smith-Schuster had 103 receiving yards and a score.

For just the second time all year, the Dolphins stuck with one quarterback for an entire game. Ryan Fitzpatrick rewarded that misplaced faith Andre Johnson Jersey with a 21-for-34 line, picking up 190 yards (that's a paltry 5.6 yards per attempt) and matching two touchdowns with two interceptions.

More than a few people will look at their screens on Thanksgiving, maybe do a double-take, and then ask: "Who is this Jourdan Lewis Jersey guy playing quarterback for the Lions?"

Well, it won't be Matthew Stafford, who is , or backup Jeff Driskel, who is also hurt. They'll be looking at David Blough. The team announced Wednesday that Blough would start against the NFC Christan Bullock Jersey North-rival Bears.

MORE: |

Just who, exactly is David Blough? A few answers to chew on with your appetizers:

This is Blough's second team as a rookie.

He signed with the Browns last spring Isaiah Paige Jersey as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue butcouldn't crack the Cleveland roster in training camp. The Lions decided to take a chance on him in late August after watching him play against them in Week 4 ofthe preseason. They acquired him Aug. 30 in a trade that also included a swap of conditional seventh-round draft picks in 2022. His first snap Thursday will be his first as a pro in a regular-season game.

Blough is the last quarterback to beat Ohio State.

The peak of his resurgence in that 2018 Devin Gardner Jersey season came the night of Oct. 20when the Boilermakers steamrolled the then-No. 2 Buckeyes 49-20 in West Lafayette. Blough completed 25 of 43 pa ses for 378 yards and three touchdowns. "Going on that week, we knew that we had the guys to go out there and hang with Ohio State," Blough . Ohio State has John Wangler Jersey won 17 in a row Brennen Beyer Jersey since, including a Rose Bowl and a Big Ten Conference championship game.

Blough set records in his four seasons at Purdue.

He holds the school marks for pa sing yards in a game (572, vs. Mi souri in 2018) and completion percentage for a season (.660, also in '18). He's in the top five in career attempts, completions, yards, touchdowns and completion percentage after playing for Purdue from 2015-18. (Afellow named Brees, who'll be playing Thursday night, is No. 1 on most of those career lists.)

Blough overcame Isaiah Livers Jersey an injury and a benching with the Boilermakers.

First, the injury: an ankle dislocationin November 2017 that cost him the remainder of the season. Then, the benching: He lost a camp competition to Gerald Ford Jersey Elijah Sindelar prior to the 2018 season. When Sindelar was injured the week of the Mi souri game, Blough stepped in, produced his record-setting game and never looked back. "I knew that this was my Juwan Howard Jersey one opportunity for the entire season to go out there, and I was going to cut it loose," .

Blough is a magician.

Some might say he pulled off a neat trick just getting to the NFL, but we're talking actual magic here, like card tricks that leave people shocked and amazed. He showed off his sleight of hand a couple of weeks Michael Schofield Jersey after he joined the Lions (video ).

Play-action pa ses ought to be a . . . breeze for him.
