Lorna Shore's Maleficium EP

The Maleficium EP by Lorna Shore is a solid release for the deathcore act. The release reached the top three on the iTunes Metal Chart and is the first non-digital only release from the band. The band distances itself from previous work and considers this release a "rebirth" after releasing two digital-only EPs. The band recently announced a tour supporting Carnifex and Within the Ruins, as well as a full-length album.

The EP combines brutality and intricate technicality to create an intense deathcore tour-de-force. Songs like "Godmaker" start off subtle, but eventually erupt in fire. "Cre(h)ate" is a standout example of the latter's brutality, tearing the listener apart with shredding riffs and massive chugs. The album is not for those who aren't into heavy music.

While Maleficium may not be the longest release, the EP's intensity and power rival that of a full-length release. The New Jersey juggernauts have reinvented deathcore with this five-track EP. Last year's "Bone Kingdom" was impressive, but left listeners wanting more. With Maleficium, however, Lorna Shore proves that deathcore doesn't have to be boring. They have four different talents in a band, so you're bound to enjoy the EP.

A fan's collection of Lorna Shore merchandise is essential for fans of the band. You can get a shirt, a mug, a poster, or even an album. You'll never know which item you'll use for a particular occasion. Just remember that the merch you buy will last a long time. It's the best way to show your support for a band. And as long as you have an MP3 player, you'll never go wrong with a shirt, a mug, or other Lorna Shore item.

CJ McCreery's departure

Fans are mourning CJ McCreery's departure from Lorna Shore, but their disappointment is understandable. The former frontman was not a friend to begin with, and he quickly wore out his welcome. He gained a reputation as a gigantic Jerkass, and the bandmates were already planning to fire him before he was outed. However, the band did not heed these accusations, and the album is still out there.

While the group is disappointed about the development, they have continued to tour. The fall tour of the band was their first without CJ McCreery, and the band has added new singer Will Ramos as a replacement for McCreery. The band toured with bands including Sentinels and Crown Magnetar during the fall, and announced a new EP. The band also released new music videos for two songs, including "The End" and "Dirty Little Sister."

After CJ McCreery's departure, fans are awaiting the new singer of the band. Lorna Shore released its first single, "Darkest Spawn" in September, and fans are eagerly anticipating the new album. In the meantime, fans will have to do without McCreery's original vocalist as well as the band's merchandising.
