I've been enthusiastic about prom dresses from David's Bridal because the first collection debuted.

Whenever I spot the prom dresses rotting at the back of my closet, I begin to question the motives of a number of my now-married friends. Were they TRYING to make me seem like a beauty pageant cast-off? (Srsly: One is head-to-floor fuchsia—with a train!)

My friend Jackie (you realize her came from here!) often does the high-waisted skirt thing, so I called in this dress together with her in mind. I think it looks fab on her behalf! Style A205.

I loved this blue prom dresses yourself in person, but if this arrived to the Glamour offices, I wasn't so sure. Then Beth slipped it on and ... KA-POW! She owned it, no?! Style XS1650 in Navy, $159.99.

If you need to spend a bajillion dollars in your wedding dress, whatever. That's your company. And I'm assuming Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney spent the vast majority a bajillion around the three custom Mark Zunino wedding gowns she wore when she married Eddie Judge. But her friends spent WAY less on the prom dresses. Eagle-eyed reader Mallory emailed me to express she thinks Tamra's bridesmaids wore mix-and-match dresses from White by Vera Wang, Vera's collection for David's Bridal, and I think she's right! Thanks, Mallory!

All the ladies' dresses were within the collection's Blush color, so that they match perfectly. And they all are less expensive than $180, causing them to be even more awesome in my book.
