P2Pah WOTLK Classic：The study of the history of the past from DonnaStella's blog

We got together to Stainless Steel Studios' Rick WOW WOTLK Classic Gold Goodman at Gen Con 2003 to see two settings of the history-themed Real-Time Strategy game's campaign for a single player. The first setting was the medieval Crusades out of England--specifically, the journeys and adventures of King Richard the Lionheart. 

As we observed, the English are well-known for their archers' skill and their powerful longbow are favored by the British especially on higher ground, and particularly because English archers are the only archers in empires that are able to shoot at moving targets. We also saw the action as Richard the Lionheart charged enemy French soldiers and destroyed the enemy almost by himself, and followed by a massive assault on the French castle, which included the destruction of the castle with Trebuchets, as well as catapults which lobbed diseases-ridden cattle upwards and over the walls.

Then we switched to the main US operation in the days following D-Day during World of Warcraft and watched three major beach offensives then an inland battle. In the first couple of battles the Americans were defeated in the face of their German King Tiger tank--the most powerful tank in the game without a doubt. 

But, later on, we saw battles that required the combined effort by American G.I.s, who have the exclusive "charge" abilitythat makes them move faster and do more damage during combat as well as US Army Rangers, who are able to summon long-range artillery strike. They can also commission artillery strikes. 

US can also create Sherman Warcraft, which are good enough weapons to use on the battlefield. They are also able to call in C-47 personnel carriers for dropping troops into combat, and also bombing strikes by B-17 bombers. Incredibly, the Americans B-17 bombers are the sole ones within Empires which will actually carry out another bombing attack at their intended targets (all other bombers perform one run and then take off).
