I can remember
Madden 23 coins getting a contact from my brother right after their first preseason game , when multiple flags were placed against him for this rule and I was pretty angry. He was playing against a smaller defensive line and when he attempts to punch his chest, the hands rise naturally up and then make a brief contact with the helmets of the players. The incident was never previously reported and is now. We were all concerned it would fundamentally alter the offensive line's play.
As the regular season started, the calls disappeared. I'm pretty certain Mitch didn't get a ticket for one of them during the entire season. They were rarely executed as stated in the rules book and any contact to the helmet was not considered an offence. A direct blow on the helmet was legally enforced, and the game in the trenches was not required to fundamentally change.
That's a long winded way to say I doubt the Madden NFL 23 will continue to leniently enforce the new helmet rule in the regular season. Will they make a mistake by ignoring it from time moment, they'll do it, but this rule shouldn't significantly alter the game's gameplay if it's implemented properly.
Last thought, I'm
mut coins madden 23 not the biggest advocate for making every aspect of the Madden NFL 23 reviewable, but I think the Madden NFL 23 will need to examine including this in the review process. It's reviewed in the NCAA, and if there is a chance that Madden NFL 23 is able to rule on this improperly it should be evaluated (it can be reviewed when it comes to a player being kicked out).
