The story stuff happening in 7.2.5 is more WOW WOTLK Classic Gold evergreen. It's a collaboration with Chromie who isn't yet in Dalaran. She's in Wyrmrest and is in Northrend This means that this content, in addition to things that we've seen in other smaller patches like The Brawlers Guild, they're not directly tied to Legion. That also means that they're going to be around for a longer time, or at least relevant for longer. There's a good chance that you won't end up playing through the Legionfall campaign for a couple of extensions down the road however, you'll be being able to complete the Chromie scenario or go through each of these microholidays or similar.
What's the reaction to micro-holidays been? I think it's been about six months since they've been launched. Are there plans to increase those further? There is a certain level that you think you'd be overwhelmed with?
We're still kind of feeling out in the air. Some of the solutions to those questions--how often they should occur and how many should we have answer has been positive. It varied from one micro holiday to another. Some were more popular with players in the event than others. Much of it had to do with how long the mini-holiday lasted or, in other cases in others, how far and hard it is to get to.
It's true that we saw an increase in people participating in the salute-as-guard day simply because it was just in Orgrimmar or Stormwind or any other capital city. you could say "salute an officer" and be able to participate in the festival, however, some other holiday, like Hatching in the Hippogryphs didn't see as many people participated because you had to fly all the way down to Feralas in order to access it.
Blizzard will enable battlegrounds of the same faction from July 2 to 6 to see its effect on the game. Battlegrounds are still geared towards matching teams from opposing factions however, if a team cannot be cheap WOW WOTLK Classic Gold located quickly enough the matchmaking system will put together teams of the same-faction, though the team is playing within the enemy faction's base wearing masks and tabards representing the faction they find themselves fighting for.
