Diablo 2: Resurrected Update Reintroduces a Classic FeatureDiablo II: Resurrected received a brand new version this week  D2R Ladder Items, bringing back a classic feature found at the beginning of the Diablo II game. It's the Ladder system which gives players a possibility to compete against each other by a more competitive manner to play through the storyline of the game with their characters that they've made.

The Ladder game comes in many variations and is now available to players to return to or try for the first time , based on if they played the classic Diablo II or not.

If you've played the game that was the precursor to this new version, you'll know a lot of the key features of this Ladder system. It's offered in Classic, Hardcore Classic, Expansion as well as Hardcore Expansion variants with each of them having different rules governing how many lives players have , as well as the content available.

"Each mode will have its own leaderboard , where players compete to gain experience in short timeframes while getting access to content specific to the Ladder mode," Blizzard's announcement about the introduction of its Ladder method for Diablo II: Resurrected said. "When the Ladder season ends Diablo II Resurrected Items. leaderboard rankings will reset by transferring characters into the non-ladder game mode, providing players with an opportunity."
