Currently, one Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has shown off a section of their island that has been themed after the zany platforming franchise Crash Bandicoot.

In a Reddit thread, thelordofgifts posted an image showing a portion of their island that has been dedicated to recreating the look and feel of the popular video game Crash Bandicoot. When you first look at ACNH NMT, the image shows thick jungle merging into a display of lush palm trees, seemingly floating platforms, and brightly glowing crates. But when you look closer, you see more. The end result is strikingly similar to the landscape of the Wumpa Islands, complete with the 3D platforming areas that have become synonymous with Crash Bandicoot's games.
The area includes a rectangular pond with small, squared-off islands that appear to be drawings of the Crash Bandicoot platform designs, which appear to be leading the player in the direction of the center. Designs along the solid ground are similar and can be found in two directions: off to the right into the woods, and forward up to the top of an elevated platform shaped like a red mushroom with white spots. Although Crash Bandicoot's iconic mutant animals have yet to make an appearance, the famous Wumpa Fruit and infamous TNT crates can be found at the far end of the pond, where they are proudly displayed. In addition, there are what appear to be two glowing flowers in the arrangement, one on the left side of the pond and the other perched on the mushroom platform.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons snow globes (or water globes) will be available as capsule toy prizes starting at the end of February in 2022, according to Bandai.
