Early access to Diablo 2: Resurrection is available through Twitch drops from Lambert Kent's blog

Diablo fans who want to try out the new remaster D2R ladder items: Resurrected but haven't made up their minds about whether or not to purchase it can earn themselves a beta drop this weekend by tuning in to Twitch.

The game's developer, Blizzard, announced on Thursday that fans who watch more than 2.5 hours of buy Diablo 2 resurrected items Twitch streams between August 13, 1 p. m. CT and August 14, 3 p. m. CT will be eligible to participate in the early access open beta of the game.

It is necessary that your Battle. net account is linked to your Twitch account in order to be eligible for a code. You must then simply watch broadcasts of the game until you see a drop appear on the notification tab.

These codes will only be available to PC players, and will not be available to players on other platforms. You will be able to test it out on all consoles other than the Nintendo Switch when the open beta phase begins on August 20.

The early access phase of the buy Diablo 2 resurrected Runewords beta will take place from Aug. 13 to 16, with the open beta for all players taking place a week later, from Aug. 20 to 22, on the same day as the early access phase.

If you are unable to try Diablo 2: Resurrected out through one of the methods listed above during the next week, the game's release on September 23 isn't too far off in the future.

This is completely incorrect. Early access on console is available to those who pre-order; however, it will not be available through Twitch drop events. We sincerely apologize for this oversight.

The second method is only suitable for use in later game sessions. It is possible to reset skills as many times as there are Tokens in your inventory when you use the Token of Absolution item.

The path to obtaining a Token of Absolution, on the other hand, is only available on the Hell difficulty setting. This is because Hell difficulty is unlocked only after you have completed the game on Normal and Nightmare, so getting there will take some time.

Buy Diablo 2 resurrected items In Hell mode, you'll need to collect four essences from each of the five Act Bosses and combine them in the Horadric Cube to complete the mission.
 

• Andariel (Act I) and Duriel (Act II) represent the twisted essence of suffering.
  

• Mephisto (Act III) possesses the charged essence of hatred.
  

• Diablo (Act IV): The Essence of Terror Is Burning —
  

• Baal (Act V) is the writhing, festering essence of destruction. 

Because these are all rare drops, expect to spend a significant amount of time farming Act Bosses just to obtain one Token of Absolution.
