In a new announcement, EA Sports told IGN: We are not averse to talk about rumors and speculation, but we're determined to continue to improve Franchise as a element of our Madden NFL 22 live streaming service and beyond. The statement follows a report by Sports Gamers Online that EA had decided to scrap any additional games with franchise-based modes in Madden 22. It partly cited IGN's own interview with Madden 22 Executive Producer Seann Graddy.

Graddy said that this year's content roadmap is "slightly more modest than previous years prior" due to the fact that the team is focused on a couple of key areas instead of trying to develop games on the same scale as Superstar KO, a well-received arcade mode released within Madden 20.

"I believe that the roadmap is] likely to be more modest than in the past due to the fact that we're only focusing on a handful of segments that are the core of Madden 22 and also getting started up on Madden 23 in a big way," Graddy said at the time buy mut coins.
