Melee is one of
rs3 gold the most powerful forms of combat, and it has been since EoC's release. It also lasted throughout the Global Combat Improvements. However, it isn't the most effective type of combat. Offensive, melee is the highest damage rate against targets with infinite health... but there aren't any targets with infinite health. The effectiveness of damage from melee is significantly affected by the length of time required to move toward new targets.
Memento is the most susceptible defensively. Beside receiving the splash damage of multi-target attackers like Vorago, Nex, and Beastmaster Melee offers little to no manoeuverability against ROTS spins or Araxxor's swipes. Against enemies which attack with melee and another style, Melee sacrifices much protection that is provided by Prayer.
The debate between pure power and practicality isn't a good one. However, strength does not outweigh the challenges that the melee presents. It's like having to choose between an iron and a a gun. While the bar is more dangerous if you strike it hard enough, you may as well choose the gun.
The main benefit of melee is the low price. The enhanced excalibur, Saradomin godsword and other items provide healing capabilities. If you want to combine magic and healing then you should change to the ancients or blood spells. This is only applicable to players who are moderate to low level. You will soon find that auras, scrimshaws or noxious weaponry are not important.
These I believe are completely acceptable. They cover the completeness of things in RuneScape, doing "all" the jobs across all aspects of RuneScape. However, there are also certain exceptions. The title "The Annihilator" Do you consider that a post-quest? Or a title to a brand new slayer beast? It makes sense to complete the quest to
buy rs07 fire cape its maximum extent when you have content from post-quests.
