Prior to the December 31 purge of apps, another 94,000 apps had been removed from the store's app store, bringing the total loss in 2020 to 140,000 apps.
Apple's gaming revenues in China amounted to $13 Billion between January 2020 and November 2020. This is an increase by 14% over 2019 revenues. The removal of apps from the store is anticipated to significantly impact Apple's revenue in the year 2019. It is not clear whether developers will obtain a license to allow their games to be brought back into the Chinese market.
