WoTLK: the storytelling that we provide--in Legion from DonnaStella's blog

"If you only glanced at those two points, you could be WOTLK Gold able to conclude that Battle for Azeroth is the sequel. It is 'WoW 2.' The change has been happening over the last 13 years. The problem is that since it's occurred in bits and pieces, I'm not certain whether people are aware of how things have changed. How has the distance of vision in the game and the resolution that we have and the graphical fidelity we've seen in our characters each of them has changed to high-resolution. 


The effects of spells that we've added as well as combat mechanics that have changed for each class; how the interface works has changed. For better or worse it's necessary to re-learn an element of it each time, but we're trying for a way to make this a bit simpler and a more enjoyable to get into your game and gain mastery over it.


"And the storytelling that we provide--in Legion alone, we had more voiceover than any of our previous expansions and in some cases more than two or three expansions combined. It's an amazing amount and we're gonna continue to keep doing that due to the depth and richness it gives to the narrative.


"We are able to come up with a million ideas we'd like to accomplish using the game, and it's an exciting field for us to come up with fresh ideas, new stories, and even new features to. This is where we are. It's really about how much we intend to do now and what we're gonna do in the near future?"


Heroes of the Storm


Kaeo Milker (production director): "Right now Heroes of the Storm is this an ongoing, living game. We're always updating it. Every week we release patches. We have new heroes coming for release every three or five weeks. There are major patches with additional content and features at least every six weeks. It's constantly expanding and changing and getting bigger and better all of the time.


"So there's no world where we say "Let's take another direction completely, it must be completely new.' Heroes 2.0 is actually concerned with going through our progression and rewards, as well as opening up all the game's content. The idea of letting players earn points simply by playing the game by advancing all their heroes.


"Before, there was an obstacle. You'd reach the 40th level and that was it. You would then stop. Everybody who played to any extent would say, 'Okay, now what's my plan What am I doing?' That's why we decided to let go of that and let people play as they please. Whatever you do whatever game mode you choose to play there's always something to learn and you'll always be rewarded with great rewards. We're referring to it as Heroes 2.0 because that buy WOW WOTLK Classic Gold was quite a dramatic change, however, the primary game was still Heroes of the Storm. It's a game we're always working on and making it better.
