During BlizzCon's opening ceremony in the morning WOW WOTLK Classic Gold , the makers of the MMO World of Warcraft closed with a unveiling of the brand-new expansion called Battle For Azeroth. The presentation revealed details as well as a brand new visual of World of Warcraft, this new expansion could be the most intense and chaotic update to the game yet.

When playing Battle For Azeroth, players can explore new areas of Azeroth that will reveal a variety of unexplored regions of the world players haven't previously seen. The new continents include Kul Tiras and Zandalar, in addition to a few islands travelers can visit at their own pace The expansion includes an all-new level cap of 120. There are also a variety of new raids and dungeons that players can take part in.

The developers stated that this was the most exciting update to the game in a while, which will feature several new features which players can expect. In addition, we witnessed the reveals of World of Warcraft Classic, giving players the chance to revisit the original World of Warcraft during its early days.

Additional new features that were introduced in this expansion include Island Expeditions, where three players take on the same challenges on an islands. It's a race against a group consisting of three, either controlled by AI or real players -- from the opposing faction to be the first to complete the task. The way PvP is played is also changing, with Blizzard intending to eliminate the PvE/PvP server distinction.

There will also be brand new Allied Races, which you are able to introduce to your group: Nightborne, Highmountain Tauren, as well as Zandalari Trolls for Horde, and Void Elves, Lightforged Draenei and Dark Iron Dwarves for Alliance. You will also be able to unlock the ability to play as the race you choose, as the image above shows; doing this will start you off as level 20.
