But I noticed it was odd to
Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta me that in a menu where you click the name of on a character that the options would just be so slightly different and in the key menu menu that I could see that choice there. But I'll definitely be using that that I know. Wonder how early development this was. It's really cool how this looks and feels just like a true"phantasy star online 2" (rather than the present game, which while amazing, looks/feels nothing like the original). The soundtrack looks in accordance with the pso1 stuff. By the time PSO2 attained the phase in 2012, it was PSO2 we know and love.
I think at some point a long time past, it was confirmed that PSO2's game engine even to this day is basically a significantly modified version of the engine Phantasy Star Universe utilized - the pre-alpha version they revealed in this movie uses lots of PSU assets (UI components, sound effects, music), so it is likely this was created quite early in PSO2's development - probably when the general game's layout was reaching its final stages, but if not many new resources had been established. Additionally, there are some intriguing things about this too - for a little while, or actually maybe it even is still, the lobby you see at the start of the video really still exists in PSO2's files, although it's probably a very early asset, because I really don't think the final game's engine supports it and will only crash if you try to load it through modding.
The"playground" area where you see the CAST fighting Falspawn also is present in the files as part of a test map, and that could still be force-loaded with mods, though it's only a part of it - a lot of the textures for the rest of pre-proto Urban are still there though Video of said area. In accordance with the video looking more like a"real PSO2", it is worth considering back when PSO2 first came out, it had been much slower than it is currently, so it continued the modernising development of PSO1 - PSU a bit smoother. But PSO2 has been updated - walking movement was MUCH slower if it came out, it did not have jumping, and movement-PAs/Techs didn't exist.
So I simply tried PSO2. I wasn't impressed with graphics, UI, and the login. Felt like I was playing with PSO2 from 2005. The character customization had a great deal of variety and has been deep so thats a +. But it put me and it was fine. When critters came, some components felt a bit clunky but.Everything just clicked. And the battle felt pretty amazing! Felt like the activity combat I've been looking for at a MMO to get a loooooong period (Like Dragonnest.I miss that game.or also MH:W to a level ).
I am honestly hooked to the combat. And I'm looking foward to getting abilities and weapons and things and enjoying more. And also the fact you are not class and you can use any weapon or course skills is +!! But I must still say. The UI is extremely offputting and crap (and the grim seems bad to me especially). And It's not user friendly at all. Also, I'm not fond of PSO2 being case based. I would prefer planet, or connecting maps with an overworld. The visuals I really dislike. The clothing and outfits, I find absolutely dreadful. They all look over the top and have too much going on. The newcomer outfits in character selection look like outfits you get in the conclusion of
pso2 sales and even then it looks a bit too flashy.I can not imagine what endgame equipment resembles. Everyone looks like a circus?
