Rather than matchmaking by overall which leads to a variety of"entire cheese", create leagues or tiers depending on the jewel color of the greatest complete card in your lineup and rewards to reflect that grade or league. You are able to play in the league or grade over your gem colored card, but can not play under. They wouldn't have the ability to play with a lineup consisting of Ruby and Sapphire players.

The current system rewards players for lowering their position to play against teams with lower miniature cards. I believe that a system that permits players to play greater entire lineups but not allow attempts to play worse lineups is a much better consumer experience for everyone. I really like this idea but I think there would have to be a mode without this kind of matchmaking.

There's a lot of gamers who could be new to the mode or just have trash teams, but managed to get a lucky pull. Imagine being a participant with a single opal (which you got fortune and hauled in one package ) and 9 ruby cards, but needing to go up against a god group full of opals and PDs. It would be too unjust. It'd be ideal, if this was different from a style that does a variant of the team matchmaking we've now.
