In the wake of last week's announcement of Madden nfl 23 Coins EA has unveiled the gameplay trailer that was revealed. The trailer focuses mostly on FieldSENSE, this year's new system for gameplay that is said to be "the basis for consistent, ultra-realistic gameplay."
EA had previously taken an in-depth dive into FieldSENSE. However, today's trailer makes it much easier to process all of the changes. It's the same story, with four main elements to FieldSENSE -- Hit Everywhere, Skill-Based Playing, 360deg Cuts and WR vs DB Battles. -- and the trailer below shows them in combat.
As a summary, Hit Everything is a new technology for animation that is based on physics-driven gameplay for best-quality results, as contrast to previous gaming based on animation which was too predictable. Players can now play the ball or be active with the receiver in order to do mid-air knockouts. A new standup tackle mechanic to help force turnovers.
On the offensive side of the ball, there's the new Skill-Based Passing mechanic that gives you total control over where you place the ball. Using the left thumbstick, you can lead receivers who are open in dropping the ball into tightly-spaced areas. It is the goal to limit the chance of a random passing game and give you greater control over the outcome.
The 360deg Cuts mechanic greatly improves the game of last year, which didn't have enough control over the running. This year, you'll have more mobility and fluidity as a ball-carrier. Use the L2 button and using the left side of your stick, you can perform cuts and hit the gaps that open up.
The fourth and final element of FieldSENSE is WR Battles between DB and WR. While this mode is accessible in all modes, it is most effective when played in Face of the Franchise where you can play as a wide the receiver as well as defensive back. It is the aim to give players total control of the wide receiver release movements as well as defensive back counter-press mechanics.
In my time playing this Madden 23 Closed Beta, I'm able to say it's a significant leap ahead for the franchise. Unfortunately , for those playing last-gen versions, FieldSENSE is only available in Buy Mut 23 Coins on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
