Seers Village Diary upgraded Excal is a L0L in my opinion, just because depending on your master slayer, you'll never need to heal. The other aspect I need to say about DDS is that is beats CLAWS because you can use it on four different monsters.
It's fairly precise, and it does not consume a large portion of the bar (claws can be useful for bosses or PvP as they are able to cause lots of damage in short period of time. Slayer, though, although you're looking for damage however, you don't need spend a lot of money on just 8 hits , with 4 of them probably being less than 100). Also, Korasi can be a nice special weapon (besides DDS) and can be used on drags made of metal.
For the money, you shouldn't rely on drops of herbs, since they're really not that valuable any more since the bots of Sorceress' Garden took over. If you've got the slayer, you could go to Abberbant spectres. These drop lots of herbs and the highest level herb seeds which can earn you an amount of 500k/hour, as well as being all over populated with bots.
My money-making strategy is old-fashioned, and unfortunately, except for two, which I think you'd like. They are: cutting (and I mean dice dueling but not hosting, however) but it's dependent on a 50/50 probability and there is a chance to be sanitized, or make money. (I have been cleaned twice, however, since I did not have a lot of money so it wasn't a big deal RS3 Gold. It was a long way to 10M, then got cleaned after which I was cleaned from 300K, made my way up to 18M, and I'm stopping here after winning EIGHT multiple times. half-percent chance( )
