Tyceno alleged Rack offered players to NBA 2K22 MT invest large sums of money and promised them a return of as high as 40 percent. "I lost $6000, was to receive $11,000 to make up the 'interest' which was supposed to be paid," one alleged victim aged 21 has told us. "The scam took place originally through this dude Rack posting hundreds of thousands of dollars in bets and trying to brag about the amount of cash he was allegedly able to get."
Another victim, aged 17 and a victim of cybercrime, made a report with the Australian Cyber Security Centre. He claimed he lost $6,000 to the scam. "He [Rack] described the process as giving the loan to be repaid with interest," the teenager said. He had a great reputation within the community and was able to trick me and others into transferring huge sums of money.
