2. Time Your Bash for Fury Generation
After your Shouts are active, it’s time to build Fury through Bash. This skill is essential because it not only generates Fury but also builds towards the Overpower effect, which will trigger when you use Upheaval.
Bash should be used repeatedly, aiming to Diablo 4 Items hit your target 10 times (or until you’ve built up 120% damage boost from Fury). Ideally, Bash should be used immediately after your War Cry to ensure damage buffs are active while building Fury.
Tip: Use Raheir's Valiance (from your mercenary) during this phase to ensure you don’t get interrupted. This will allow you to stay in the action and generate Fury without worrying about being stunned or knocked back.
3. Unleash Upheaval with Perfect Timing
Now that your Fury is built up, and all the buffs are active, it’s time to unleash your Upheaval. This is the core damage skill of the build, and with proper timing, it will deal massive damage to both single and multiple enemies.
Upheaval should be used immediately after you’ve reached the 120% damage threshold from Fury generation. This ensures that the damage potential is maximized and that the Overpower effect will trigger as intended.
Tylus’ Cataclysm (mercenary skill) should be coordinated with Upheaval. Use it to ensure enemies are weakened or staggered when you cast Upheaval. This adds extra damage over time and cheap Diablo 4 Items allows your Upheaval to hit harder.
